  1. Sign the signature panel on your Credit Card(s) as soon as you receive them.
  2. Subscribe to Credit Statements through email.
  3. Limit the use of physical statements.
  4. View and verify all your credit card statements online and be on the lookout for unusual charges.
  5. Never carry your PIN (Personal Identification Number) on your person. Memorize it and discard the PIN mailer immediately.
  6. Be sure your credit card is returned to you after completing a purchase and make sure that the card that has been returned, is your own.
  7. Always take your charge slips with you, and tear up any duplicates.
  8. Check receipts against your online monthly billing statements to verify all of your transactions. Report any unauthorized transactions immediately.
